To register for the 2026 IASA-BAAC Conference, which you can attend either in person or online, please read the following information carefully before proceeding with the registration.
Important Dates
Registration for the 2026 IASA-BAAC Conference opens on 22 July 2026.
- Early-bird registration: 22 July – 5 September, 2026
- In-person attendance registration: 22 July – 15 October, 2026
- Online attendance registration: 22 July – 16 October, 2026
Attendance and Presentations
- In-Person or Online Attendance: You can choose to attend the conference sessions, talks, workshops, and social events either in person or online.
- Presentation Formats: Presentations will be delivered in person or as pre-recorded videos. In-person presentations will be recorded and made available to registered delegates after the conference.
Registration Requirements
- Mandatory Registration: All attendees, including speakers, guests, exhibitors, and sponsors, must register by clicking the button below to participate in any conference session.
- Capacity Limits: Some events have limited capacity. Early registration is recommended to secure your spot and take advantage of 'early bird' prices.
- Payment Methods: Payments must be made online via Sched using a credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal. Late payments will be accepted at the conference Registration Desk.
- Payment Confirmation: Your registration is not confirmed until your payment has been received.
REGISTRATION - IN PERSON
The in-person registration fee covers:
- Attendance at all sessions from 19-22 October, including spoken papers, discussion panels, posters, plenary sessions, open committee meetings, and workshops of delegates' choice.
- The evening reception on Tuesday, 20 October.
- One professional visit on Wednesday, 21 October.
- Coffee breaks from 19-22 October.
- Online access to recorded sessions after the conference.
- Attendance at the IASA General Assembly.
Note: The Conference Dinner on Thursday, 22 October is not included in the registration fee and requires an additional payment of €80. The fee includes return transportation to and from the dinner venue.

The Single Day registration fee entitles registrants only to the full benefits and events held on the day for which they are registered. You will need to select your preferred days when registering online

REGISTRATION - ONLINE
If you are unable to attend the conference in person, we invite you to join us online. As an online attendee, you will have access to both live and pre-recorded presentations, panel discussions, keynotes, and plenary sessions. You will be able to interact with speakers by commenting and asking questions via YouTube and Zoom video conferencing. Additionally, our Sched event scheduling software will facilitate communication with colleagues from various countries participating in the conference. The registration fee for online-only attendance offers video and audio access to:
- real time presentations including the Keynote paper, plenaries, and discussion panels over 4 days.
- online access to recordings of all sessions after the conference.
- attendance at the IASA General Assembly.

Important Notes
- IASA/BAAC Member Registration: Available exclusively to currently subscribed and paid individual and institutional members of IASA/BAAC. Not a member? Join IASA or Join BAAC (opens a new window). Membership applications or renewals are confirmed only after payment is received.
- Student Registration: Available only to students who provide a valid student ID. After registering online, please email a scanned copy of your valid student ID card with an expiration date to the IASA Secretary General at secretary-general@iasa-web.org. Students must register in advance to attend the conference and receive all benefits, including attendance at the welcome reception and transport to professional visits. Registered student attendees enjoy these benefits and have priority seating at all events.
- Accompanying Person Registration: Available for spouses/partners accompanying a registered member or non-member attendee.

Cancellations policy: full refund if cancelled before 5 October 2026; 50% refund if cancelled before 16 October 2026; no refund if cancelled after 16 October, 2026.
